I received my new pouch for the PLPS4 from Alison peachykeenquilts this morning, I love it, it's perfect.

New Wool

I'm loving the bright colours of my new mini blanket, it makes a nice change...

A Finish

I finished my wave/ripple afghan

I was dreading doing the tassels but they were done in under 2 hours yesterday afternoon after convincing my better half that he could wind and cut whilst watching the footy!!! haha it was like a production line...brilliant, I'm now waiting for my new wool to start my next one..

A First...

Finished my pouch for my latest swap over at PLPS4 I made a boxy pouch from a tute here (scroll down)

My first boxy pouch, well that's not strictly true, I had a trial run first and made this one

To be honest the zip is much better on the first one but I didn't use the fusible batting which made it easier.

The view from my window earlier today....

We all know around here that we have foxes because we see them playing on the gardens and road in the early hours and it's not unusual to find eggs that they've buried in your rockery when doing a bit of weeding!

But this little one (limping) must be very hungry ... or brave!

Crochet The Ripple...

I'm really enjoying "The Ripple" its so easy and quick to do...well after the foundation row!

Caught up at last...

Up until yesterday morning I'd only done six of the Sew Happy QAL blocks tut tut, not through laziness, but other things take over sometimes!
I'm happy to say this is where I'm at now...

after a full day cutting and sewing yesterday, now to trim all the blocks and get sashing...

New Pouch....

I received my new pouch from my secret partner this morning on Mouthy Stitches

It's come all the way from Canada from the talented Anne Marie (ams2010) I love it, it's perfect and bigger than I imagined, and some fantastic scraps...lots of them!!!

I love the cats one...

Quiet?....

It may have seemed quiet around here blogwise, but this is what's been happening here, we layed a new floor in kitchen/conservatory...

Excuse the temporary worktops, it's a work in progress, the new floor is luxury after living with concrete for months.
